According to the Weather Channel, of the 50 largest metro areas in the US, the Minneapolis-St. Paul area is the coldest metro area. Of all the new ballparks that have gone up since 1992, this has got to be the worst thought-out stadium. While the stadium itself looks nice, how can you not put a retractable-roof on a new major-league stadium in the Twin Cities? You can still enjoy the outdoors with a retractable-roof stadium! Sometimes people can go overboard trying to save a buck or two.

Here’s the problem: the average low temp in April is 36. AND, MLB must love the Twins because the first night game is … April 16 against … KC. That’s crazy. Predicted attendance for that tilt: 10,000. Watching KC vs the Twins at night in April …. priceless!
